Jed and ABBY in Merryland

We have had Jed and Abby visiting us and leaving encouraging comments on our blog for quite sometime now. We wanted to go over and say ‘Hello’ to our new friends but we can’t seem to find their site.
We reach their blogger profile from the link on our comment form and then, it is a dead end. We can’t find any url leading to their site there.
Even the e-mail link doesn’t let us send any mail.
Can anyone please tell us the link to their site?
And Hey! Jed and Abby, if you are reading this, please let us know how we can come visit u.
We love making new friends and certainly wouldn’t like to lose you.

Thanks everyone, for your advice and concern about our problem. It means a lot to us.
We definitely will let you know as soon as we find a safe solution.
I,Ginger, never mean to have any puppies. It is sad because I could have been a good mother. I love kids, both fur and otherwise. Why else do you think I let my little puppy brother to steal my treats from inside my mouth?

P1130817

Yes, he has learnt to do just that!! And very conveniently for him, his mouth is so small it fits right inside mine very easily.
Sigh!!
Well, I was talking about not having puppies. Not only because I cannot be expected to withstand the stress of pregnancy with a weak heart, but also because it is our responsibility not to pass on birth defects to future generations of puppies.
So, spaying is the best option for me. And if it turns out that my heart will never allow surgery even with the safest anaesthesia, we will have to get the boys neutered. That much is clear. The only problem is finding a nice, trustworthy, compassionate vet in Hyderabad.
Well, the worst case scenario is that we might just never find one here and have to wait till we reach Delhi. Once this season is over, we will have some time till my next season is due.
So, life should be back to normal.

Quite a few of our friends are celebrating ‘THANKSGIVING’ soon.
Wishing you all a WONDERFUL HOLIDAY. Hope you get heaps of treats, scrumptious food and pawsome gifts.

Jeb and Abby don't have a blog, but we are sure they will send you an email to let you know as they did us. We have tried to encourage them to set up a blog.

We have our paws crossed that you will find a safe answer for Ginger - you are so very caring and loving to be so concerned and thorough about her surgery.

Well, Ginger, it looks as if even though you're not going to have any biological puppies of your own, you've got your own puppy now. He might just think you're his doggie mom and he's lucky to have you, no matter what he thinks. I think you're in a very good place, with having such great human parents to make sure that your care is safe and the best possible. If spaying or neutering has to wait for Delhi, I'm sure things will work out until then. After all, even breeders don't always breed a bitch every time she's in season. At least good, responsible ones don't. It would be too much, so people do manage this kind of thing if they must.

lotsa licks, Lola

I'm so sorry that we've not been able to visit your blog--Our life is getting in the way of catching up with friends like you!

But I think I'm caught up now, and will just say that I totally respect and understand your dilemma about the puppies--I'm glad you found a solution and a good plan!!

miss gingin and buddy,

thankies so much for the happy thanksgiving wishes! me and asa and mama return those happy wishes to ya'll, and we are very super blessed to know you and call you our friendz!!
i wanted to woof a big sorry that we haven't been around very much for the past few days. mama has been very busy and hasn't had time to help with the bloggin'. boohoo! we're gonna be takin' a breakie for the holidays, but trust me, we will still be keepin' up with ya'll even if we don't comment.
about the spay 'n neuter thingie...here in the states, it is very highly recommended unless you plan on havin' puppers. i was neutered when i was 6 months old...i'm only 2 years old, but i'm just fine, i promise! neutering is very much easier on us dudes than spaying is on the ladies. asa was spayed when she was around 1 year old.
in mama's opinion, she would recommend at least havin' buddy and shadow neutered. anywho, it sounds like ya'll have been doin' mega researches, and i know ya'll will come up with the best solution!

We're with Booker. It's easier when we've had the chop.

Jed and Abby visit us, too. But we only know them through comments. Hopefully, we'll hear from them in the future.

We've been off the net for a couple of days, so we just caught up with your last couple of posts. First, thanks for the kind comments and for asking about us. As the OP Pack noted, we don't have a blog. We would be happy if you wanted to send us an email sometime: jed_and_abby at verizon dot net.

We didn't know about Ginger's heart condition. We're very glad your mom is being so careful of your health. Mama has never heard of the medication being suggested. Our vet is out of town until the end of next week, but mama will see if he's heard of it. We're sure your mom is already researching on the internet. Some of the vet schools might take online questions, too.

Neutering male dogs at 6 months is very common in the U.S. We have never heard of these alleged "problems" from neutering. Mama has had at least two dozen Great Danes since she got her own home, about half male, all neutered, not a single problem due to the neutering. Jed was about 8 months old when his was done. It definitely did not stunt his growth! Done right by a qualified vet, it is very safe.

Good luck with your researches, and with keeping your boys - and all the other boys - away from Ginger for the next few weeks.
