Our first mistake!

Blistering Barnacles!

Had we known we were only inviting trouble we would have made other plans. How were we to know? But the deed is done and it cannot be undone, so one might as well make the best of the situation.

All right. All right! We are talking about the gift we got Mummy. How were we to know we were asking to be neglected and ignored when we got her what she wanted for so long?

Here’s what we got her on her birthday – A Box Set of ‘The Complete Collection of the Adventures of Tintin.’

Tintin2

Tintin3

Tintin4

The hardcover comic books are in a lovely shade of Prussian Blue, the spines of which when set in the box in the correct order arranges to form a picture of Tintin reading a paper, with Snowy curled up at his feet!

Little did we know when we ordered what we imagined would be the pawfect gift for Mummy that it would eat into our blogging time, reading ‘substantial books’ time, writing time and ‘a lot of other things’ time.

SIGH!

Ginger, Buddy and Shadow

P.S.:

Thank you so very much for your lovely wishes on my birthday. And so sorry I haven’t yet gotten round to visiting you. Yes, I plead guilty as charged by Ginger, Buddy and Shadow!!

Then there were so many other things that had me occupied. For one Buddy needs a lot of grooming in this season due to his allergies. This added to his hypothyroidism makes my boy sort of depressed and restless. The shedding is not so bad but he is very itchy. Grooming seems to help. I haven’t written about his problems. May be I will sometime…

Hope you are having a great start to the week.

Happy (belated) birthday to your Mom! We're sure she had a pawsome day. What a beautiful gift. Maybe she'll read the books to you.

Hugs,

Sometimes the best gifts...sort of backfire. BUT we don't recommend chewing the books.

Hope the Budster's allergies aren't too bad this year.
