Like we were saying the other day, we have been taking Mummy out for increasingly longer walks. Nothing like some fresh air and exercise to get your strength back.
All this time, while we were complaining of the bitter winter and the persistent fog and chill, the gardeners have been hard at work. Every morning and evening, we find them diligently tending to the flower beds unmindful of the weather. Soon the dry drab landscape will be bathed in the myriad colours of spring blooms. What a blessing!
We have befriended a few of the gardeners in our favorite park. There’s this young gardener – a woman who carries her baby around. Vaishnavi is just about 5 months old, a happy gurgling, animated little thing who is ever so excited to see us. We take turns to check on her everyday and Ginger never forgets to kiss her on the nose. On days when she’s asleep, we find her curled up in a wicker basket hanging from the nearest tree where her mother is working. It’s a tad sad, we think…….
Spring is almost here!! The squirrels, the ground hogs and many chirping birds we do not recognize are up and about everywhere. Everyone seems to be waiting with bated breath for the colour burst about to happen…….!!
Holding our breath,
Ginger, Buddy and Shadow

Hello my faraway friends!! I've somehow missed your last few posts and have so enjoyed catching up here on your blog, and need to on facebook as well--But I love your photos and the glimpses of things blooming and seeing the start of spring which can not come soon enough for me!
You drive on the left, too? We never noticed before. We have a Hyundai...a tiny one.
Shadow, you've got the right idea, get your mum out and walking. It's the best medicine, as well as laughing at you guys.
