Hi Everyone,Buddy is feeling much better. For all intents and purposes, his limp is gone.
Ginger here. All of us here want to say ‘Heaps of Thanks’ for all your zen thoughts and love. We will definitely get to thanking each of you personally as soon as Mummy can find a little more time to help us go visit your blogs.
By that I mean it is non-discernable at first glance but you can appreciate some unsteadiness if you observe his activities very intently. Daddy says Mummy and I are imagining it though!
I think his paw is still a little tender. He winched and sat down when I jumped on him today. Usually he just jumps up a foot into the air and then at me during all our games!(He is looking good, you must admit. This picture is from a few minutes earlier)
His fever is gone but he has developed a little tummy upset, most likely due to the anti-inflammatory medicines he has been taking. He vomited twice. However, he still seems eager to have his meals which Mummy says is a good symptom. Of course, he has become very choosy and fussy!
Mummy has stopped all his medicines. He seems on the mend, so she says it will be good to let him recover on his own. He is getting his favourite foods and some enzyme to help with the digestion.
Daddy has a touch of the Flu and I am a little worried Buddy has it too. I mean he IS sleeping a lot and is just 70% Buddy. Thankfully there hasn’t been any inkling of tremors or seizure - like symptoms again.
I am trying to be much more perky and active than usual which somehow seems to amuse Mummy and Daddy. But I am just trying to cheer Buddy and Daddy up. After all, it isn’t much fun when both your Daddy and Brother are feeling unwell.
And I am hopeful Mummy will get the idea and let us play our ‘chase each other’ game if I just keep chasing myself all over the house. It doesn’t seem to be working though. She is only letting us play bitey-face sitting down which isn’t any fun at all.
But I am trying hard to get the idea across.
I wish he would hurry up and be 100% Buddy again.

me and asa and mama were totally just thinkin' about buddy and wonderin' how he was doing, so we were very happy to see your pupdate! we are way glad that buddy is feeling some betterment. i know he will be back to 100% very soon like. it's hard to be patient...i know how you feel cuz i had to be super gentle with asa back when she had her surgery in may. we couldn't play wrestle mania or bitey face for 3 weeks!!!
maybe you and buddy could play checkers or somethingie gentle like that instead? teehee.

So good to hear that Buddy is somewhat better but it will be great when he is 100%. Till then, sweet Ginger, take it easy on him and let him rest. We hope Dad is better soon too and doesn't share it with Mom.

It sounds as though he's on the mend. Ginger, you just have to be patient and let the boy rest and he'll soon be your old Buddy-boy again :-)
