Smarter Weatherman?

It’s been raining since last Saturday. Not the heavy ‘uprooting trees and engulfing the whole world in darkness’ kind of rain but the perennial ‘no sign of stopping’ kind of rain which we think is worse.

Believe it or not this was how it looked today morning at 9:30 AM!

It’s mid-Feb, isn’t it? I mean isn’t February meant to be the beginning of spring? Whoever has heard of such thick fog in this season?

The other day when the Weatherman predicted rains starting this weekend and the return of fog, little did we think they will actually get it right. Oftentimes in the past it would invariably be sunny and bright when rains or fog were predicted. Naturally we expected the lovely weather from last week to continue the moment we read the predictions!

But Lo and Behold! It rains and turns all foggy and cold just when we were beginning to stow away our woollens!

Considering that there hasn’t been any news of the old weather scientists being fired or of any new smarter ones being hired, these guys must have acquired new, intelligent and obviously accurate machinery!
