We have been wishing very hard for a less busy day at work for Mummy so that she can finish off her book. And tell you what, she came back today with the bookmark at the end of the book! There are only just about 20 pages left to read.
Yaay! We can finally get back to reading all your blogs soon.
And the other thing that convinced us about the validity of Dan Brown’s claim about wishes coming true is much more interesting.
Mummy has been eyeing this very beautiful but expensive tea cup and saucer set for a very, very long time now. It is a lovely piece of art she says, combination of steel and ceramic manufactured by an internationally famous Indian Steel giant called Jindal Steel. They have many, very lovely creations you might like to check out HERE. Their range is named “artd’inox”, meaning The Art of Stainless Steel.
Mummy just loves these beautiful designer things and always wishes she had a little more money to spend on them. (Each time she goes to the store selling something that she likes but can’t buy just yet, she’d go stand and admire!)
This set was one such thing.
And guess what happened today? A friend gifted them to Mummy! And not one, not two but EIGHT sets of this beautiful Cup and Saucer!!!
She is so, so happy :) :) :)
We, of course, checked them out immediately. And we agree, they ARE lovely and smart.
(Mummy, can I have a cup of milk to go with my bone?)
Mummy had her evening cup of Ginger-Tea in her new cup. The way she was smiling away, you’d think her tea was extra intoxicating! We thought it was a little silly though!
(We like that little elephant inside the cup!)

We're happy your mom has those beautiful cups she admired. We, as dawgs, are not so fussy about what we eat or drink in -- but our mom says things always taste better in beautiful dishes and glasses. (And a recent test just proved that even great wine tastes awful in a plastic glass -- and that less great wine tastes better in a nice glass.)

Those are some beautiful cups and saucers. What a great friend to give a gift like that. We did look at the site and they have amazing things. I don't see any dog dishes though. That seems like an oversight.
